A Limited Edition Gift Box with Mother Untitled and Rose & Rex
It was about 6 months before our launch when I first met Neha, the founder of Mother Untitled. She was one of the first women in the mom and baby space whom I connected with, and so it feels fitting that we partnered with her to curate our very first collaboration gift box, celebrating mothers as teachers and bringing the act of teaching turns home for the holidays.
From the start of our friendship, it was clear to me that Neha resonated with our commitment to building the Bokk Baby brand around our donation program and sustainability model. Mother Untitled is an outlet and a resource for women creating space for motherhood in their lives and careers. The community she is building is kind, caring, and generous, and we couldn’t be more excited to partner with her, and with Rose & Rex, another brand who we totally admire, on this sweet, playful limited edition gift box for toddlers.
Rose & Rex is a teacher-curated and conscious toy company that believes in the importance of play in holistic child development. Their toys are made from sustainable and natural materials, and they ‘play it forward’ by donating toys to children in need. Allie, founder of Rose & Rex, shares: “Through play children make connections with themselves, with others, and with the larger world. A key component of holistic, or well rounded, child development is the teaching of social and emotional skills like empathy, gratitude and giving to others.” And so, we knew we wanted the contents of this box to tell a story about taking turns and giving back to others, in the spirit of showcasing our send-back donation program during the holidays with a gift that is both caring, cozy, and imaginative.
Our donation program is at the heart of everything we do. This gift box is as much about the box itself as it is about what’s inside. A pre-paid return label is included, so you can reuse the box to donate gently used and outgrown baby clothes, blankets, or toys, all from home by mail. Donations we receive are sorted and packaged into take-home care bundles for mothers who deliver in rural clinics in Senegal, or otherwise donated or responsibly recycled with local nonprofits in Colorado. Our hope is that your little one enjoys what’s inside, and that participating in our donation program lends itself to teaching moment about giving back to others and taking turns with one’s things.
